My First Blog Post

Welp. I’ve had this website for almost five years. I suppose now is a fine time to start a blog!

Apparently I don’t need to worry about sounding professional on here which is great- despite having a degree in business, I’ve never been good at it. I grew up in a small town of less than 1,000 people in south east Minnesota and was in special education for reading and writing (for a hot minute). Here I go, already exposing myself but hey- that’s what I love about photography- being vulnerable and feeling celebrated for it. All to say- you can expect imperfect grammar, punctuation, and probably some spelling errors.

I’m going into this blog with the intentions of bringing some much needed queer content to the internet as well as just having a space to be real with y’all. I love what I do and I love everyone I work with. It’s a dream come true to be making people feel hot and seen for a living and I cherish every day that I get to do this transformational work.
